Planet by Plants is speculative magazine for plants and for people, exploring domestic life through vegetal eyes. Interior design, lifestyle products, care routines, spatial arrangements: what do these mean when the houseplant becomes the central inhabitant? What does a living room mean to a ficus? What is comfort, neglect, or display from a vegetal perspective?
Made for the solo exhibition Green is Furniture at 37PK by Anne Kolbe (in 2024), Planet by Plants functioned as a guide to the exhibition. The houseplant stood at its core. The magazine offered an alternative entry point into the work, staging the domestic interior as a shared habitat shaped by often asymmetrical relations.
