My Ornamental Body
During a residency in Zeeland (Goes, NL), I explored how body and landscape can relate through movement, imbalance and improvisation. Drawing on research into stunt performance — from physical strategies of classic stunt performers to contemporary approaches — I investigated how falling, stumbling, and clumsy gestures can generate a new dialogue with the environment. I examined how a stunt-based approach shapes an understanding of space, presence, and the possibilities of inhabiting a landscape.
