During a residency in Goes (NL) I explored how body and landscape can relate through movement, imbalance and improvisation. Drawing on research into stunt performance – from physical strategies of classic stunt performers to contemporary approaches – I investigated how falling, stumbling, and clumsy gestures can generate a new dialogue with the environment. I examined how a stunt-based approach shapes the possibilities of inhabiting a landscape.
